The Big project conceived and led by Jacobs has been running since 2017 in schools and then more recently has branched to a Tees Valley Schools wide project. We are bringing it to Darlington as part of the Enrichment Partnership and are excited to have Darlington Borough Council and Darlington College partnering us. The project runs from its launch in October to the grand final in March.
A team from each school will work with a mentor company supporting their ideas to battle through 3 panel rounds to find out who has the best ideas.
The question posed this year from Darlington Borough Council is
Using Darlington Borough councils ‘3 areas for long term success’, alongside market research and your own innovations, determine what you think Darlington should look like by 2040
